This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing modules.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit modules to customize them.
The left side has modules you can add!
Some modules you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some modules have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain modules can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Haha, it's been...boring. Sending out applications to video game type places and working on a concept art portfolio. I've been in Queens, NY and work in the flag-ship-store Gamestop. The daily subway ride gives me lots of reading and drawing time. I have been enjoying it so far even if it's not school. And you? Post-CIA life treating you well? Also, how is Evan?

Sounds like a good temp job, even if it is retail Working around books are video games is probably the next best thing to making them. And reading/drawing time is always good. I feel like I don't get enough of that anymore.
Me, I'm between contracts at the moment (basically because the economy sucks, and I'm waiting for something that comes in January). Evan's working on a coloring book for children during the energy crisis. I've come to the conclusion that I miss school more than I thought I would, and kinda really want to be an art professor. Maybe at the Corcoran or MICA.
What companies have you been applying for? And being in NYC, with all the big publishing companies, have you thought of applying there for in-house illustrator jobs too? They're usually by-appointment. Your sculptural work is kick-ass, and photographed could make excellent illustrations. (though, since a padded resume really can't be bad, and because the recession is making job-getting harder everywhere )
Ooo, I hadn't thought about publishing companies...I could begin that search later tonight (after that petty job thing)! Most of the companies have been the bigger game companies because they always seem to be looking for people. I'm also in the middle of gathering information for an application to the New York Teaching Fellows which is for non-teachers only and will set you on your way to a teaching degree. It seems like a very worthwhile thing to try out for especially if I can get an art-related jorb. I miss school quite a bit as well, especially my shop. I loved the sculpture labs.
Good luck between your contracts, by the way, and tell Evan I said hello.

Wow, you do have it together. Best of luck, sir, and I expect to hear back from you about how it all pans out! I miss school's print labs as well... Evan found a grad program in Syracuse, NY, that seems pretty good for print/creative writing/illustration. Someday, when jobs are a little more easy in the offing, we're thinking about heading up. Which would make us sorta-neighbors to you, so we'd best be sure to keep in touch.
Evan says hi as well! You're one of the very few of my friends from school that he remembers meeting (other than Shoko and Lindsey).
Thanks so much for reading and ing The Jesus Action Figure.!
